We are seeking a highly skilled and technical

Senior QA Engineer

with expertise in

Functional

API Automation

to join our fast-paced team. This role is integral in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our applications through comprehensive testing strategies, automation frameworks, and E2E testing.

Key Responsibilities



Test Planning & Design

Develop and maintain

comprehensive test plans and cases

based on product specifications. Participate in

requirements and design reviews

to understand feature scope.
Manual & Automated Testing

Execute

manual and automated tests

to validate application functionality, performance, and reliability.

Focus heavily on API testing and automation

, ensuring robust backend validation. Identify and track defects, ensuring proper resolution and retesting.
Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with

developers, product managers, and other stakeholders

to clarify requirements and report testing status. Communicate progress, risks, and quality insights clearly across teams.
Quality Assurance

Drive

system integration, regression, and E2E testing efforts.

Maintain a

strong end-user experience perspective

in quality validation.
Test Environment Management

Set up and maintain

test environments

, collaborating with

DevOps and IT

for stability and configuration.
Documentation & Reporting

Document test cases, test results, and testing activities in

Azure DevOps, Confluence

. Generate reports and metrics to provide visibility into product quality.
Continuous Improvement

Stay updated on

latest testing tools, trends, and automation strategies.

Suggest and implement innovations to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Qualifications



Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Computer Science, Software Engineering,

or a related field.

Extensive experience

in software testing, automation, and API validation. Strong knowledge of

web application architecture

and multi-tier systems. Hands-on with

Postman, Python / Node.js

scripting,

ADO, MongoDB.

Proficiency with

automation tools

like

Selenium, RestAssured, Postman.

Experience with

CI/CD pipelines

(Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps). Strong programming background in

Python, Java, or JavaScript.

Experience with

BDD/TDD tools

like

Cucumber, SpecFlow

. Exposure to

cloud

environmentsand

microservices

architecture. Knowledge of

performance

and

security testing

is a plus. Excellent

problem-solving, communication,

and

collaboration

skills

.
