Senior QC Analyst
Southport
40 hours per week (8am - 4.30pm)
\xc2\xa325,000 per annum
My client is a leading pharmaceutical company who are expanding their team at their Lancashire site. The Senior QC Analyst role is an exciting and varied post, where the successful candidate will be involved in method development and running stability trials.
Key responsibilities of the Senior QC Analyst:
- Routine testing of raw materials, finished products, stability samples and investigational samples using analytical techniques
- To perform testing of manufactured product samples for release, stability studies and validation using various analytical techniques such as HPLC and GC.
- Review of Batch Manufacturing Documents and analytical test results to facilitate the release for filling.
- To write reports, SOPs and other documentation when required
- To maintain laboratories to GMP standards
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting and equipment and analytical methods.
- A BSc or equivalent in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or related subject
- At least 3 years experience of HPLC, GC and IR, ideally from a GMP or pharmaceutical laboratory
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices
- Knowledge and experience of GMP
- Experience of working in an analytical QC environment
