Position: Senior QRA Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Food Safety
Location: Remote role with 50% travel nationally. Would be beneficial to reside in the Midlands area
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday. Day-time hours.
Closing Date: 13th September 2023

We have an amazing new opportunity for an experienced Senior Quality manager to join us and to lead the QRA teams working on all area\'s relating to regulatory Food Safety within our Consumer & Convenience division!

We make promises to our customers, and we\'ll make promises to you too. What are the key responsibilities in this role?

  • Assist in leading the Quality Function in relation to all Food Safety activities including HACCP, TACCP & VACCP
  • Support the Quality Director with the delivery of the Quality and Regulatory Agendas at site/business level, ensuring harmonisation of best practices (Food,HACCP) are rolled out across all UKI Food sites
  • Support the Consumer & Convenience Business by ensuring that client specifications are followed, and the business is compliant with approved procedures, Food safety regulations and external certification guidelines.
  • Support business growth by participating on client project implementations from a Quality and Regulatory perspective
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationship with our clients, peer groups, as well as with relevant regulatory and professional bodies
  • Attend and present as required Quality and Regulatory compliance status at management and business reviews both internally and with clients
  • Leadership of Regulatory Inspections as required
  • Undertake internal and external audits as requested and support hosting external audits where required
  • Contribute to content creation and the delivery of regulatory training.
  • Raise Quality and Compliance awareness across operational and non-operational teams and functions in line with BRC, ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 and Organic standards.
  • Undertake quality compliance improvement reviews and/or CAPA actions as requested
  • Line management of 10 Quality colleagues

  • Significant Line management experience
  • Previous Quality Management experience within Warehousing & Distribution
  • Previous Quality Management experience for food products
  • To be an experienced change practitioner
  • The ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships \xe2\x80\x93 internally & externally
  • Demonstrable continuous professional development
  • Experience with BRC external accreditation or ISO9001 \xe2\x80\x93 organic certification
  • Multi site Quality Management experience
