Due to ongoing growth, we are partnering with this organisation seeking a talented and driven Senior Quality Officer to ensure excellence in their quality management systems. If you have a proven understanding of ISO:13485 and/or experience working with ISO:9001, with lead auditor experience and a passion for supporting R&D programmes, then this opportunity is made for you!

As a key member of the Quality team, you will thrive in being able to mentor and develop other members of the team as well as working collaboratively to help support and maintain a culture of quality throughout the business alongside continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will maintain all aspects of the QMS as well as providing support for client audits and notified bodies. You will also be required to perform audits of suppliers and sub-contractors in addition to undertaking internal audits according to schedule.

So what do we need from you?

  • Working knowledge of Quality Regulations and Standards particularly ISO:13485.
  • Exposure to a GMP environment.
  • Experience working within Quality department for the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device sector.
  • Experience of digital document management systems
  • Trained in a suitable selection of Quality Tools: Internal/External/Customer Audits, Risk Analysis, RCA etc
  • Hands on but confident to deputise for the Quality Manager when required.
  • Effective relationship building skills to be able to influence, engage, empower and guide other colleagues.
