We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic SBIM team at Severn Bridges Maintenance Unit in Bristol (BS354BD).



In this role, you will support the Senior Commercial team in the end to end commercial process for the SBIM contract. You will develop client relationships in support of successful account delivery, aiding change and conflict management, and promoting Amey in retaining/winning future works.

What You'll Do:

Ensure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at project level / work stream Update the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans Help ensure that internal commercial processes are adhered to across SBIM Hold a good understanding of the processes and procedures and assist in their development and improvement Be proactive in the management of subcontract accounts Accurate valuation of subcontract accounts including processing of payments and payment notices in line with the subcontract conditions and deadlines Help to identify and prepare Early Warnings and Compensation Events to client Contribute towards effective interaction between the Commercial Team and the operational site teams Liaise with the client, client representatives and other third parties on commercial issues, including agreement of variations, claims and additional payments
