What you'll be doing




Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll lead the financial management of multiple residential development projects from procurement through to final account.


Key responsibilities include:

Lead subcontractor procurement aligned with project timelines Monitor and manage project costs, ensuring robust cost control Produce accurate CVRs, forecasts, and commercial reports using COINS Collaborate with operational and technical teams to support delivery Identify and manage commercial risks and mitigation strategies Mentor and develop Assistant Quantity Surveyors (AQSs) Drive continuous improvement and maximise project value

This is a key role in ensuring the commercial success of our residential developments and contributing to the ongoing growth of our business.

About you




We're looking for a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor with a solid background in volume housebuilding and a proactive approach to project delivery.


Essential skills and experience:

Proven track record working on large-scale residential developments of 100-200+ homes A relevant professional qualification or equivalent experience, ideally degree-level or higher Proficient in COINS software, with excellent overall IT capabilities Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to deliver customer-focused service in fast-paced environments Commercially aware with confident negotiation ability Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to manage competing priorities Confident decision-maker with excellent contract and commercial management knowledge Strong numeracy and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and assess risk A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
