Our client, Taylor Woodrow, a leading infrastructure and civil engineering specialist, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Bristol working on a long term framework overseeing projects between 5million - 15million.

The role will be responsible for taking the commercial lead on managing the costs across a Framework project and would suit somebody with experience within civil engineering / rail.

Duties



Oversee and manage project, ensuring adherence to programme schedules and budgets.

Lead the commercial management of contracts (NEC), including forecasting, tendering elements, cost reporting, sub contract management and contract administration.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with client expectations.

Drive cost efficiency through value engineering and effective procurement strategies.

Ensure robust risk management and contractual compliance across all projects.

Mentor and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Report on project performance and provide strategic commercial insights to senior leadership.

Person specification



Quantity Surveying degree is desired

Experience working on Civil Engineering projects

Experience with rail would be beneficial

Ability to establish, build and maintain client relationships
