It is essential that you have experience working for either a housebuilder or Main Contractor. This role would also be suitable for a Quantity Surveyor who is looking for a step up into a Senior Quantity Surveyor role.
More about your role
Working across our sites in Inverness, you'll manage the costs of building work throughout the development cycle. You may start by working with architects to identify resources and materials, allocating work to suppliers and contractors, and sometimes stay with the project through to completion, monitoring progress and reporting to the Commercial lead.
This fast-paced and varied role requires a strong understanding of the construction industry and an interest in new developments. Responsibilities will vary depending on the stage of the project.

More about you
You'll need a relevant qualification in the built environment, ideally RICS or working towards it, and a solid understanding of construction and development, especially pre-construction. Strong commercial and financial acumen is essential.
This collaborative role requires you to manage multiple projects and work closely with internal and external stakeholders. You'll need to demonstrate your ability to build long-term relationships using strong influencing and negotiation skills.
