We're on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), supporting the construction of Sizewell C - a state-of-the-art nuclear power station that will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes. What You'll Bring to the Role:

A strong background in commercial management, negotiation, and legal contracting.

Proven experience in managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects.

Membership of RICS, ICES, or CIOB (or working towards).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage a team and liaise with stakeholders.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Manage all commercial aspects of the project, ensuring value for money and high standards.

Prepare activity schedules, resource schedules, and analyze tender documents.

Critically appraise, estimate, and negotiate with third parties.

Monitor subcontract activities and analyze commercial progress.

Undertake constructability analyses and develop procurement strategies.

Manage HR/People aspects for direct and indirect reports, including mentoring and professional development.
