Job Role


Taylor Woodrow is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management of Enfield Council's 6Bn Meridian Water regeneration project.
This 120M scheme includes site remediation, new roads, bridges, flood mitigation, utilities installation (electricity, gas, water, comms), and extensive landscaped parkland.

Duties


Assist in implementing project commercial start-up procedures. Prepare and manage work package documentation, tender invitations, and evaluations in line with VINCI procurement policies. Support procurement of materials and services, ensuring compliance and robust record-keeping. Monitor and manage valuations, applications for payment, variations, and final accounts to maximise project value and cash flow. Produce accurate cost reports, forecasts, and contribute to setting financial targets. Work closely with the supply chain to drive cost efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities. Support the Commercial Manager in client negotiations and dispute resolution as required.

Person Specification


Formal qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management. Proven experience as a QS or Senior QS on large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of NEC contracts. Chartered or working towards chartership desirable.

Hours: Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to Friday
