Due to project growth the position of Senior Quantity Surveyor has become available to join our Cadent Framework, based in Peterborough

Cadent is the UK\'s largest Gas Distribution Company, operating 4 of the 8 UK Gas Distribution Networks (East of England, London, North West and West Midlands). Their service spans over 131,000 kilometres of pipes supplying to 11 million homes & businesses.

Costain is the preferred bidder for the East of England Construction Management organisation (CMO). Central to Costain\'s role will be the strategic planning and programme management of Cadent\'s capital investment programme, with a focus on delivering improved regulatory performance and future proofing the network for the benefit of Cadent\'s customers.

This role is hybrid with 3 days on site/office

Role Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Senior Quantity Surveyors will hold or be nearing completion of Full Membership with RICS / CIECS

\xc2\xb7 Undertaking the efficient and effective management and issuing of accurate, timely and compliant notices and correspondence

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring contractual and commercial risks and opportunities are identified to the Senior QS

\xc2\xb7 Preparation and agreement of applications for payment or the assessment & preparation of payment certificates.

\xc2\xb7 Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive

\xc2\xb7 Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way
