About the Role:



We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Quality Surveyor to join our Southern Region, based on site, to run a 43m new school build in Oxford, must have main contractor experience and have run jobs of a similar size and type.

This is a full time, permanent role. Ideally 42.5 hours over 5 days per week, start time 8.30am - finish time 5.30am.

Duties of the Role:



Ensure accurate and timely reporting. Tackle difficult issues early. Financial Control of the Project, maximising profitability but maintaining client and supply chain relationships. Identify and eliminate risk. Aspire to the very highest standards of quality, service and business performance, tackling difficult issues early, striving to eliminate risk and achieving project targets. Actively develop and strengthen relationships with clients and their teams to maximise team and business goals. Drive and maintain a high level of financial and commercial control Adopt a professional and considerate approach to maintain good working relationships. Be a lead team leader. Support the Contracts Manager/Operations Director in achieving successful project delivery Actively develop and strengthen relationships with the supply chain to maximise team and business goals. Production, management and mitigation (where applicable) of any Extension of Time or Delay Claims under the Contract. Lead and manage the Value Engineering process including liaising with all key stakeholders Settlement of Disputes.

Key Skills & Experience Required:



Analytical thinking skills Strong organisation, IT, and attention to detail skills Accuracy of administration and compliance with company standards Excellent Interpersonal Skills Early identification of signs/ potential issues Ability to take lead/chair meetings and bring parties together Excellent knowledge of construction/ contractual Accuracy of administration and compliance with company standards Ability to work under pressure Working away from home, including travelling long distance to meet business needs.
