An independently-owned UK construction consultancy is recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their central London team, to lead a key account managing retail fit-out projects for a well-known high street brand.
The business has multiple UK offices offering multidisciplinary services including Cost & Project Management, Building Surveying and H&S consultancy.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with the client team to deliver full cost management services for retail fit-out and refurbishment projects, for both new and existing stores. They will work across all pre- and post-contract stages of projects with duties including cost estimating, tender documentation, procurement, contract administration, variations, claims and final accounts.
The company has a hybrid policy with 3 days a week in the London office. There will also be some travel required to client sites.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates for this role could be from a construction consultancy, client-side or contractor background with experience in delivering fast-paced retail/hospitality fit-out projects. They should have strong pre- and post-contract experience and the ability to build strong client relationships. Candidates should also have a driving licence and vehicle, and be willing to travel to sites when needed.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
This role is paying a salary between 65-75,000 plus benefits including 27 days annual leave, private healthcare, 6% employer pension contributions and bonus scheme.
