Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor

. Ideally, you will have a proven skill set of managing commercial schemes within an MEP Contractor, looking to bring that skill set to a main contractor on multi-million-pound schemes across the central region. This is a fantastic opportunity affording access to a limited number of requirements within a main contractor seeking MEP contracting commercial (quantity surveying) skills, with onward development there on to build a team.

Day to day,

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take the commercial lead for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) packages across multiple projects. You'll be involved from pre-construction through to final accounts, ensuring accurate reporting, cost management, and contractual compliance throughout. Key responsibilities include: Leading MEP commercial delivery from tender through to final account Producing accurate and timely commercial reports Supporting risk and opportunity strategies Managing valuations, cost control, and change management Providing commercial guidance to project teams and senior management Assisting in supply chain selection and pre-construction planning

What you'll need to succeed,

Proven experience as an MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor (Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / HVAC or Electrical Engineering) A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial discipline (or equivalent experience) Ideally working toward or holding professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB) Strong understanding of commercial and financial management systems A track record of delivering MEP packages on large-scale projects Previous experience in sectors such as education, healthcare, leisure, custodial or defence The ability to manage other quantity surveyors and work collaboratively across teams This role offers long-term career development, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to work on some of the region's most exciting construction schemes.

We are offering a competitive package to include a basic of circa 80,000 - 90,000 DoE, car, pension, medical and various there on as you'd assume of a leading Tier 1 Contractor.
