What you'll be doing
We're looking for an Engineering Construction Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in the nuclear or energy sector to manage commercial activities on complex industrial projects, including energy and utilities infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on large-scale engineering construction projects such as power generation, water treatment, energy infrastructure, or nuclear decommissioning. A good understanding of NEC contracts is essential.
You will be responsible for cost management, contract administration, and commercial reporting across multidisciplinary engineering projects, working closely with technical teams to manage interfaces and support successful project delivery.
You will seek to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality. Typically, they will be a Chartered Member of the RICS, ICES or CIOB. They will have experience of managing a small team of less experienced commercial staff as well as mentoring others on their journey to becoming professionally qualified. They will maintain their Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The role is within Engineering Construction for nuclear waste processing and storage and nuclear decommissioning.
Who we're looking for
