Job overview




Work in all areas of the department on a rotational basis, working within set clinical protocols and IRMER regulations ensuring a high quality and efficient Radiographic Service.


Ensure consistency of medical imaging quality and standards of patient care in a wide range of clinical environments as well as to a diverse range of patient presentations.


Main duties of the job




Deputise for the Modality Superintendent as required in the running of the work area


Participate in a core hours service across 7 days including night shifts



Act as a role model and support junior colleagues in the work area



Contribute effectively to the delivery of an efficient and responsive Radiology Service and make recommendations on service improvement.

Knowledge of clinical governance /risk management and audit IV Cannulation training
