Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the School of Mathematics & Statistics Research Administration Team as a Senior Research Administrator at the University of St Andrews. The role holder will join a Team of two and a wider Professional Services Team of twelve and will support the administration of the School.



The role holder will be flexible and be able to prioritise the needs of researchers, academics and the School. They will process excellent team and relationship management skills, sound judgement and effective problem-solving skills. The post holder will be expected to be supportive of change and to adopt a flexible and cooperative approach to improvements to operations and the provision of administrative support in the School.



Experience in a similar role in a University or research environment with an understanding of administration within Higher Education or research administration would be advantageous.
