The Research Department of Clinical, Educational and Health Psychology is part of UCL's Division of Psychology and Language Sciences (PALS). Psychology at UCL was ranked 2nd in the world in the Shanghai University Rankings. This reflects the excellent links between teaching, professional training and research within PALS, the wide range of research expertise represented within PALS and UCL more widely, and the excellent opportunities for collaboration and interdisciplinary research provided at UCL.
The Research Department has a strong record in the development and evaluation of novel psychological interventions based on an understanding of neuroscience, developmental psychology and the mechanisms underpinning mental disorders. It has excellent collaborations with the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, Experimental Psychology and Psychiatry, and with NHS clinical services.
About the role
We are seeking to recruit a Senior Research Fellow to lead and support on research grant proposals for new research projects. To oversee the implementation of ongoing and new quantitative and qualitative research projects. They will be overseeing the implementation of service development projects, contributing to the dissemination of research findings by leading on and supporting the writing of articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals and presenting the work at conferences and networking events.
The post is funded for one year in the first instance. The successful candidate will be working at 0.5FTE for two and a half days per week.

About you
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of collaborating in multidisciplinary national and international research projects as well as a PhD in psychology or a related subject. They will have experience in implementing patient and public involvement at all stages of the research process from design to dissemination. Advanced skills in qualitative and/or quantitative data collection and analysis are essential, as well as excellent troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, having the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
