Position Overview:



We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Research Nurse to join our busy and well established Birmingham team and play a key role in the delivery of high quality clinical trials. This is a leadership role where you'll act as a central point of contact for the nursing team, leading, supporting, representing and motivating nurses while working closely with other departments across the site. You'll help drive high standards of patient care, research integrity, and compliance, contributing to a collaborative and fast-paced environment, This role is based fully on site in our Birmingham clinic.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the nursing team.

Act as a senior point of contact and representative for the nursing team.

Oversee day to day clinical delivery of studies.

Lead and support the nursing team, including resource allocation, training and development, and workload planning.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, ethical, and quality standards. supporting audits and inspections.

Mentor, train, and develop nurses at all levels, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.

Contribute to induction and training of new nurses.

Communicate effectively with other departments in our multi-disciplinary team.

Support change and service improvement initiatives, helping to drive innovation and best practice within the nursing team.

Qualifications and Skills:



NMC registration.

2+ years experience as a Research Nurse in a clinical research investigator site.

Previous leadership or team management experience.

Strong understanding of regulatory, ethical, and quality standards in clinical research.

Excellent communication skills.

Previous clinical research experience is essential.
