Are you ready to lead the delivery of high-quality Build-to-Rent (BTR) developments across the UK? We're looking for a Senior Development Manager to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of urban living. You'll be part of a collaborative environment, working alongside Transactions Managers, Asset Managers, and Fund Managers to deliver exceptional residential assets that meet investor expectations and community needs.


What you'll be doing:

Leading the end-to-end delivery of major urban BTR developments across the UK Overseeing direct developments and development fundings in line with business plans Preparing and maintaining development budgets, financial appraisals, and cashflows Negotiating and managing building contracts and consultant appointments Ensuring compliance with funding agreements and reporting obligations Providing technical oversight and resolving issues throughout the development cycle Collaborating with internal teams to align development activity with portfolio goals Building strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

Proven experience delivering large-scale residential developments, ideally BTR Strong technical knowledge of construction, design management, and quality standards Competence in financial appraisals, budgeting, and cashflow forecasting Solid understanding of JCT building contracts and their administration Familiarity with development funding agreements and obligations Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills Strong leadership, organisational, and communication abilities Degree qualified in a relevant discipline with a professional qualification (e.g. MRICS, CIOB)
