Country Homes For Children extends that quality of service to the Staffordshire region. To support our ongoing development plans we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Senior Residential Care Workers to join our team in the Staffordshire area, near Eccleshall ST20.

MUST DRIVE (but the home has its own cars).

All candidates will be required to go through a robust recruitment process and Enhanced DBS checking against Children's Barred List. All staff who are involved in recruitment have gone through a stringent 'Safer Recruitment Course'.
A full-time roll is 173 hours per month with an average of 8 sleep-ins. The annual pay range with this average is 31,891.80 to 36,043.80 and depends on experience and qualifications.
The Role as a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker:
Have a relevant qualification, either level 3 or level 4 in children and young people.
To work with children and young people according to the individual's needs, providing focused work and shift planning and to lead your team.
To assist in the co-ordination of activities within the home and ensure that they are well managed and produce safe and consistent care.
To be involved in and organise activities that are in the best interests and meet the needs of our young people.
To promote professionalism at all times.
To promote the culture of flexibility and team working amongst the workforce and be prepared to work in other homes if required.
To be an effective role model for young people and staff.
Participate in training courses as arranged and undertake professional training if the opportunity is offered.
To work flexible hours including weekends, and bank holidays.
Always observe confidentiality in relation to the Home and its residents, recognising the vulnerability of the residents.
Good leadership and communication skills
