We are looking for a
Senior Residential Support Worker
to join a specialist children's residential home in
Derbyshire
, supporting young people with
Learning Disabilities (LD)
.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead shifts and support the daily running of the home
Mentor and guide junior staff members
Build positive, trusting relationships with young people
Support with care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies
Promote independence and the development of life skills
Maintain accurate documentation in line with Ofsted requirements
Ensure a safe, structured, and child-centred environment
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a children's residential care setting
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) - essential
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, behaviour management, and trauma-informed care
Ability to lead shifts and support team development
Full UK Driving Licence required
