SENIOR SUPPORT WORKERS - Completed NVQ level 3 or 4 with leadership qualities able to lead a team of 10.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Senior Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to children and young people , ensuring their well-being and helping them achieve their personal goals. You will work closely with clients to implement care plans, assist with daily activities, and promote independence in a safe and nurturing environment.
We are looking for recent experience working either as a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker or as a Children's Residential Support a Children's Home. The ideal candidate will have achieved a Level 3 or a Level 4 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification. Career development opportunities available.
Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in behaviour or health.
Drive clients to school, appointments or community activities as required.
Provide childcare support when necessary, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.
Utilise IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
Foster positive relationships with clients to encourage trust and cooperation.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a support worker or similar role with children is essential.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Ability to drive is preferred for transporting clients as needed.
Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively is essential.
A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others achieve their goals is crucial.
IT proficiency for maintaining records and using relevant software applications is beneficial.
