Senior Childcare Practitioner / Senior Residential Support Worker

The Service Users:

Children aged 7 to 17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties


The Home:

Size: Solo placement (1-bed) Status: Established, with a strong track record of supporting young people successfully Approach: Tailored care and support for individual needs, providing a safe, nurturing, and stable environment

Working Week and Pay:

Hours: Condensed shifts of two days on, four days off Sleeps: Included within the shift pattern Salary: Up to 37,600 per annum (inclusive of sleeps)

Requirements (Non-Negotiables):

Qualifications:

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce (Social Care Pathway). Level 3 in Adult Social Care may be considered with relevant experience.

Experience:

Previous experience in residential children's services or similar settings supporting young people with challenging behaviour.

Driving Licence:

Essential (must hold a Full UK Driving Licence).
