The Role

As a Senior Risk and Insurance Manager, you\'ll have a role that\'s out of the ordinary; assisting the Group Head of Risk, Insurance and Internal Audit in the maintenance and development of best practice risk management procedures, throughout the organisation ensuring that enterprise-wide management and modelling of risk is consistent and accurate.

Day to day, you\'ll be partnering with management to provide continual risk assessment and in the development of comprehensive policies, procedures, compliance training, protocols, internal investigations, plans and the implementation of risk management strategies and processes.

  • Support in the identification of material business risks and their articulation and reporting.
  • Review of suitability of risk action plans and effectiveness of mitigation strategies including those highlighted in internal audit reports.
  • Prepare risk reports, documenting findings and making recommendations support production of Audit & Risk Committee quarterly packs.
  • Support the Group Head of Risk in driving the desired risk culture and behaviours.
Essential Experience of the Senior Risk and Insurance Manager:
  • Thorough understanding of policies and best practices of risk management.
  • Proven experience in enterprise and operational risk management.
  • Ability to suggest appropriate risk assessments and risk management actions to non-specialists.
  • Knowledge of project management and project control processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
This is a full-time position, that allows for you to work in a hybrid working arrangement, between our head office in Wigmore Street, London and working from home.

Qualifications for the Senior Risk and Insurance Manager:
  • ACII Professional Qualification is highly desirable.
  • Membership of the Institute of Risk Management is also, highly desirable.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
