Maven is seeking a dedicated Senior Risk & Compliance Analyst to join our team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Risk and Compliance team, providing regulatory support and advice across all areas of the business. This role may also suit those looking for a part time role.

The role & responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:


Build and manage key stakeholder relationships within the Maven group, establishing a good working rapport and effective buy-in of risk management. Support the Risk and Compliance team with the delivery of the compliance monitoring programme. Maintain and develop Maven and third party risk registers and dashboards. Attend and actively contribute at quarterly Risk Committee meetings. Support the Risk and Compliance team in overseeing and maintaining good working relationships with key third parties. Assist with providing risk and compliance advice and training. Provide risk and compliance information for third parties conducting due diligence on Maven (investors, advisors, industry commentators). Stay informed about emerging risks and regulatory changes to support the business in ensuring compliance with FCA rules and managing risks effectively. Input monthly management account and budget information into internal reporting systems

What you need to succeed

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a risk management and/or compliance role within the financial services industry, with operational resilience oversight experience preferred but not essential. Knowledge and experience of UK regulations, in particular AIFMD. Familiarity with risk management or other software systems would be beneficial but not essential. Educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience. Strong critical analysis skills. Excellent report writing abilities. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Compliance or relevant industry qualifications (such as CISI Investment Operations Certificate) desirable but not essential.
