Are you passionate about safeguarding critical systems and enabling digital transformation? Join our Cyber Security team as a SailPoint Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in delivering and supporting the Bank's Identity and Access Management (IDAM) solutions. You'll work at the forefront of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) and IIQ, helping to shape secure, compliant, and user-friendly access for all Bank colleagues.


Flexible Working Options:



This role is open to flexible working patterns, including job share, flexible start and end times, part time, compressed hours (subject to approval), and hybrid working between Leeds and London.

A Day in the Role:



You'll start your day with a team stand-up, discussing priorities and blockers. Your work will include configuring and deploying SailPoint solutions, troubleshooting integration issues (such as with Remedy, AD, Azure AD, and HCM), and collaborating with colleagues to resolve incidents and deliver enhancements. You'll be hands-on with operational checks, access reviews, and code changes. Expect to engage with both internal teams and external partners, ensuring issues are tracked and resolved efficiently. You'll also contribute to documentation and process improvement, sharing lessons learnt from cloud adoption.


Role Requirements:



Do you have experience with SailPoint or other IAM platforms, and a desire to develop your expertise further? Are you comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and keen to help the Bank modernise its approach to identity security?


Minimum Criteria



We're looking for someone who has the following key skills and experience:


Experience configuring and supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow (ISC), or similar IAM solutions. Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, and integration with HR systems (e.g., Oracle HCM). Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and commitment to security and compliance.

Essential Criteria



We are interested in hearing from candidates who have the following capabilities:


Experience with Java, BeanShell, PowerShell, or XML for workflow and connector configuration. Knowledge of RBAC, provisioning workflows, and audit/reporting. Ability to manage access reviews, certifications, and policy violations. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. Experience working with external vendors and managing service delivery.

Desirable Criteria



It would also be beneficial, but not necessary, to have some of the following:


Experience with SailPoint ISC, including integration with Remedy and other ticketing systems. Exposure to multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and modern IAM architectures. Knowledge of cloud security best practices and lessons learnt from large-scale migrations. Experience in documenting operational processes and contributing to continuous improvement.

Salary and Benefits Information



We encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as appropriate.


We offer a salary as follows:


Leeds circa 55,280 - 62,190


In addition, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package as detailed below:


Currently a non-contributory, career average pension giving you a guaranteed retirement benefit of 1/80th of your annual salary for every year worked. There is the option to increase your pension (to 1/65th) or decrease (to 1/105th) in exchange for salary through our flexible benefits programme each year. The Bank has the discretion to vary standard accrual rates and dial up and dial down rates at any time and to withdraw dial up and dial down options at any time. A discretionary performance award based on a current award pool. An 8% benefits allowance with the option to take as salary or purchase a wide range of flexible benefits. 26 days' annual leave with option to buy up to 12 additional days through flexible benefits. Private medical insurance and income protection.

National Security Vetting Process



Employment in this role will be subject to the National Security Vetting clearance process (and typically can take between 6 to 12 weeks post offer) and the passing of additional Bank security checks in accordance with the Bank policy.
