Location: Harlow Bros, Thornborough Rd, Coalville LE67 3T

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours of Work:

44.5 average per week and these will be worked flexibly between 7.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday, times to be agreed with line manager, with a 30-minute lunch break and a minimum of 26 Saturday mornings per year from 8am to 12pm, generally worked on alternate weekends.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Sales Assistant to join our team at Harlow Bros, Coalville.


The role exists to be part of a branch-based sales team that work together internally to process all incoming sales and enquiries over the trade counter, telephone, and email, proactively maximising business through a knowledgeable, courteous, and professional approach based on a learned awareness of our comprehensive products and services offered. A particular requirement to handle leads, enquiries and sales provided by the branch's Business Development Manager

What you'll be doing as a Senior Sales Assistant:

Handling leads, sales and enquiries provided by the Business Development Manager To be aware of the sales activity and opportunity in branch and supervise sales colleagues as required To work on higher value and complex sales and enquiries Working from the trade counter, serving customers to discuss, promote and sell product Answering incoming phone calls and responding to emails

Your Skills:

Timber sales experience Good literate and numerate ability IT experience Excellent Customer Service
