We are a popular independent hotel located close to Euston station also with a new 38 bedroom one in Camden Town. Our Euston hotel is a 99-bedroom hotel with 15 conference and meeting rooms, and a spacious on-site restaurant and bar.

Job Purpose:

The Senior Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth across the hotel's conference & events and rooms division. You will be responsible for developing strong client relationships, securing new business, and optimising existing accounts. This is a proactive, target-driven role requiring a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and in-depth knowledge of the hospitality sector.Key Responsibilities:

Conference & Events Sales



Promote and sell the hotel's conference rooms, private dining, meeting spaces, and event packages to corporate and private clients.

Prepare compelling proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements.

Conduct site visits, show rounds, and client presentations with professionalism and attention to detail.

Collaborate with the Events and Operations teams to ensure smooth event handovers and flawless delivery.

Monitor event trends and competitor offerings to recommend service enhancements.

Rooms Division Sales



Proactively generate business for individual and group room bookings from corporate, leisure, and travel trade segments.

Maintain and grow relationships with travel agents, DMCs, and corporate accounts.

Develop seasonal and strategic rate plans in collaboration with the Revenue Manager.

Upsell premium room categories and add-on services to maximise revenue per booking.

Business Development, Sales Strategy & Performance

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and partners through proactive outreach and networking.

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

Work towards monthly and annual revenue targets across C&E and rooms.

Maintain a strong pipeline of leads using the hotel's CRM system.

Identify market opportunities and actively pursue new business through telesales, networking, trade shows, and digital channels.

Contribute to the creation and execution of the hotel's sales and marketing plan.

Account Management & Client Retention



Manage a portfolio of key accounts and ensure regular communication to nurture loyalty.

Conduct post-event follow-ups and client satisfaction checks.

Identify opportunities to cross-sell rooms, events, and F&B offerings.

Prepare detailed sales activity reports and client feedback summaries for internal stakeholders.

Collaboration & Brand Representation



Liaise regularly with the Revenue, Front of house managers, conference manager, and F&B teams to align sales goals with operational delivery.

Represent the hotel professionally at networking events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Uphold and promote the brand's image, service standards, and values in all client interactions.

Sustainability Responsibility



Promote sustainable event and accommodation options to clients.

Collaborate with the Sustainability/Green Team to understand current initiatives.

Stay informed on industry trends regarding sustainable travel, responsible tourism, and ethical business practices.

Assist in tracking and reporting eco-conscious sales offerings and guest preferences.

Contribute to reducing environmental impact by encouraging digital documentation, minimising printed materials, and promoting local suppliers or low-carbon options where possible.

Other Ad hoc



Helping any ad hoc duties at the request of the cluster hotel manager depending on the urgency and priority for the business.

Requirements:



Essential



Proven experience in hotel sales, preferably within a 3 to 4-star property.

Strong understanding of hospitality sales strategies and London's market dynamics.

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Knowledge of revenue management principles and hotel booking platforms.

Desirable

Experience with CRM tools and hotel property management systems (e.g. Opera, Salesforce)

Knowledge of the local events and corporate market

Degree or diploma in hospitality, sales, or marketing

Working Conditions:

Full-time, office-based with occasional travel for meetings and events

Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends for site visits or networking events

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 33,000.00-35,000.00 per year
