Job Description

The team at Don't Panic Events have a rare opportunity for a Senior Sales Executive to join the team.

Reporting to the Operations Director, your role as Senior Sales Executive is to work independently and alongside the wider sales team to drive entry and ticket revenue throughout the Don't Panic events portfolio.

As a Senior Sales Executive, you will play a role in supporting, as necessary, with management and development of the sales team, management of key accounts and ownership of designated team targets.

This is an exciting role with huge progression opportunity for the right candidate. We're looking for someone proactive, highly organised, approachable and ambitious.

28,000 - 32,000 per annum

Uncapped commission opportunities

22 days holiday with additional time off for Christmas, your birthday and mental health days, plus service holidays after 2 years.

This is a hybrid role which requires 2 days per week at our office in Rawtenstall.

Responsibilities Include:



Managing key customer accounts and building relationships daily across telephone, email and LinkedIn.

Taking ownership of bigger events and clients within the Don't Panic portfolio

Identify, contact and win new business, using initiative and working with the Data Analyst to prospect new data

Cross sell events across our portfolio to maximise sales

Exceptional organisation and record keeping to include daily time sheets and pipeline management.

Knowing your pipeline and being up to date with payments and invoicing

Flexibility to work across various time zones to reach and build relationships with international clientele.

Training and development of junior team members, alongside the Operations Director

Maintaining a strong understanding of event timelines and the ability to resource time across various projects and deadlines.

Taking ownership of the awards inbox, delegating enquiries to relevant Account Executives where required

Leading sales team meetings and reporting to the SLT on sales team progress when required.

Taking ownership of the sales teams targets, monitoring regularly and discussing concerns and ideas with the sales team where required

Managing issues, complaints and pricing objections independently

Work closely with the marketing team and maintaining an accurate understanding of our customer journey across both sales and marketing.

Deliver high quality levels of customer service in keeping with the Don't Panic brand, values and ethos.

Any other duties in keeping with the position.

What We're Looking For:



3+ years experience in a similar sales or account management role

Impeccable attention to detail, analytical thinking and strong organisational skills

Previous experience using CRM systems, ideally HubSpot

High level of written and verbal communication skills

A proven ability to multitask across multiple projects with varied deadlines and targets.

An understanding of the digital industry is desirable

Flexibility around working hours to manage customers across different time zones and to attend events when occasionally required.

Team leadership experience is desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
