About the Sales Assistant Position

Our team is looking for an enthusiastic and customer service-oriented worker to join us as a Sales Assistant. As a Sales Assistant, you'll work with customers on the sales floor to ensure they have a fantastic shopping experience. From informing customers about different product options to completing transactions, you'll work with our clients from start to finish.

Sales Assistant Responsibilities

Welcome customers as they enter Assist customers with any concerns or questions they have Inform customers of any current promotions and deals Keep informed of products the store carries and services the store offers Monitor inventory, restocking as needed Keep the sales floor organized and clean Encourage customers to buy products Hit [weekly/monthly/etc.] sales goals Operate cash registers and balance drawers Adhere to store policies and procedures

Sales Assistant Requirements

High school diploma preferred [1+] year previous retail sales experience preferred Superb customer service skills Friendly, energetic personality paired with a professional appearance Excellent multitasking skills in a fast-paced work environment Strong verbal communication skills Availability to work, nights, weekends, and/or holidays Physically able to move around for two or more hours and lift [10+] pounds * Basic math skills
