Role Overview




As the

Senior Sales Operations Specialist

, you will coordinate and optimise sales activities, working closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure smooth operations and meet company targets. You will lead sales process improvements, administer the HubSpot CRM, and analyse data to drive performance and customer insights. Additionally, you will oversee pipeline management, design incentive programs, and foster cross-functional collaboration to support business growth.

Compensation: Competitive base salary dependent on market location and experience plus performance-based commission




What you will be doing






Owning and optimising sales operations processes to drive efficiency and revenue growth across the organisation. Collaborating with Sales Managers to develop and implement sales strategies, ensuring alignment with company targets. Managing and maintaining HubSpot ensuring data accuracy, GDPR compliance, and effective staff training. Analysing sales data to identify trends, assess risks, and generate customer insights to enhance sales force productivity. Overseeing the sales pipeline from initial contact to deal closure, streamlining processes to reduce friction. Designing and implementing sales incentive programs to drive team performance and meet business objectives. Forecasting sales trends to inform strategic planning and pricing strategies. Coordinating cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and other teams to align activities with company goals. Managing order processes, ensuring compliance with contractual documentation and supporting account management. Providing guidance to improve customer service quality and support retention efforts. Acting as a liaison between teams and upper management to facilitate communication and alignment. Monitoring and reporting on sales performance, ensuring accurate and standardised reporting methodologies. Promoting Payara's employer brand through social media engagement and adherence to the company's social media charter. Continuously refining sales processes by identifying inconsistencies and implementing streamlined solutions.





What you will bring






At least 8 years of proven experience in sales operations, with a track record of driving process improvements. Demonstrable experience or willingness to leading teams and projects. Strong expertise in HubSpot and database management. Experience with financial systems and sales process design and optimisation.





Desirable Skills & Knowledge






Deep knowledge of sales operations methodologies and best practices. Familiarity with automation tools to enhance sales and marketing efficiency. Proficiency in advanced data analytics and reporting to drive strategic decisions. Understanding of GDPR and ethical data practices in sales operations.





Personal Skills & Behaviours






Passionate and proactive, with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Strong relationship-building skills, fostering collaboration internally and externally. Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing complex projects and tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to present complex information to diverse audiences.



Essential Qualifications






Any degree in business, technology, marketing, or a related field. Professional qualifications in sales operations or a related discipline.
