Based in London, AlternativeSoft is an award-winning financial software company specializing in quantitative and qualitative Investment Due Diligence in the alternative assets space, specifically focusing on helping asset managers select the best hedge funds, long only funds, private equity, for Portfolio Construction and Reporting. We have a global reach and work with some of the largest financial institutions in the world.

Who we are looking for:



The ideal candidate must have vast experience in selling analytical software to medium and large institutional investors in funds, coupled with desire to excel at a fintech with a 20-year track record of success and innovation.

What you will get to do:



The candidate will be required to call on the world's biggest decision makers - Asset Managers, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Funds Advisors, Pension Funds, Endowment Funds, Fund of Hedge Funds and Family Offices in Europe and Asia. The candidate should be able to engage in conversations with Analysts, Portfolio Managers, COOs and CIOs, understand how they perform manager research, select and compare hedge funds and private funds, have a deep understand of finance and explain how our analytical software?can help them select best-of-breed funds, build and monitor portfolios, and perform qualitative due diligence analysis. The company requires the candidate to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.

A self-starter mindset Achieve your annual sales target We are looking for a true Hunter who is entrepreneurial and team minded, has experience with the full sales process: cold calls/emails/LI, can create his/her own meetings, collaborate with the product specialist teams, manage demos and trials, explain platform delivery options, understand the differences between hedge funds / mutual funds / private funds, answer prospect's objections, contract negotiation and finally hand over to the Client support team. Provide feedback to the product team Partner with marketing to generate and nurture leads Working collaboratively with the Head of Sales to enhance our existing EMEA/APAC sales strategy

What you will bring:



Must have >=2Y experience in the full sales cycle preferably to pension funds, banks and assets managers. Bachelor's degree or equivalent with an analytics mindset, ideally finance, economics, accounting or mathematics You understand asset selction process, hedge funds, private equity funds, statistics (volatility, correlation, beta, VaR), modern portfolio theory. You are successful in your current sales role with 4Y+ experience in new sales Have generated over $400,000USD in new sales Demonstratable communication, presentation, relationship, and collaboration skills Time management skills, experience managing more than 10 client relationships at any given time Experience within financial services sector is mandatory Consummate professional with a hunter mentality
