We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Senior Developer to create detailed design, development and deployment of scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce design, configuration, flows, Apex programming, lightning components, and integration patterns. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact CRM solutions that drive business value.
Working under Agile methodologies, you will be part of the Ofgem Salesforce CoE, comprised by onshore and offshore resources. Managed by the CRM Tech Lead, providing specialist advice and development on chosen technology e.g. Salesforce.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.
Participate on technical design sessions to enable the design of scalable and secure solutions.
Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and third-party tools.
Work with project managers, technical leads, business users and subject matter experts to design, develop, maintain and support features on our CRM platform
Follow ways of working, development standards and code control releasing code in a controlled manner (DevOps framework).
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with Salesforce best practices.
Stay current with Salesforce releases and new features, recommending improvements where applicable

Essential Criteria
An experienced Salesforce Developer (5+ hands on experience) with a strong understanding of Salesforce development, configuration, and customization. (Lead criteria)
Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Components, and Salesforce Flows.

Experience with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
Experience with Industry Cloud (Public Sector Solution Module desirable) and Omniscripts.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Copado, etc)

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Desirable Criteria
Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications or equivalent experience.
