The European Telecommunications Office (ETO) Services team is responsible for developing and deploying new customer propositions across the EU region. As a result, we have a dynamic scope and a varied remit, being involved in proposition creation, content and services strategic direction and commercial partnerships across Europe.



We are seeking a Partner / Business Development Manager to drive and manage the commercial expansion and in-life optimisation of Samsung Care+ across Operator and Retailer channels in Europe. This role is responsible for launching and scaling our mobile insurance propositions through deep external engagement and cross-functional internal leadership.



The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully launching, scaling, and managing high-value partner programmes across the full deal life-cycle, ideally within mobile insurance or telecom ecosystems. They will bring commercial rigor, strategic agility, and operational discipline to drive multimillion-euro growth opportunities from early-stage pitch through in-life delivery.



Reporting to the Head of Samsung Care+ Europe, the role will provide guidance on what to prioritise across the European pipeline and which issues or risks require their attention and resolution.



This role has the potential to improve the lives of millions of users of Samsung devices by incorporating our market leading service proposition into partner programmes. You will be responsible for helping to shape the EU strategy and lead on the management and delivery of the pipeline across Europe. You will have a strong understanding of relationship management and programme delivery at local level and on a Pan-European basis.
Role and Responsibilities
Partnerships StrategyIdentify and research potential operator and retail partners for our mobile insurance and service proposition across 17 European Subsidiaries. Own the full deal lifecycle--prospecting, commercial negotiation, contract execution and implementation--with both new and existing channel partners. Develop compelling commercial propositions and lead C-level pitches with operators, retailers, and insurance providers. Drive long-term partner value through clear, commercial modelling of joint revenue potential, prioritising high-growth, scalable propositions. Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Product teams to navigate commercial, technical, and regulatory complexities across markets. Maintain oversight of the Subsidiaries Go-To-Market plan, acting as the point of escalation for all Go-To-Market activities.

In-life Partner ManagementAct as the strategic lead for in-life management of active partnerships, ensuring performance targets (e.g. SLA compliance, attach rates, NPS, and revenue) are consistently met and exceeded. Proactively address underperformance through joint business reviews, problem-solving interventions, and optimisation roadmaps. Lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline partner onboarding, scale operational efficiency, and resolve performance bottlenecks. Design and implement frameworks to track, analyse, and grow in-life revenue--developing upsell, bundling and lifecycle-based retention strategies with partners.

Insurance Partner DevelopmentNurture and cultivate relationships with new and existing insurance partners to support or channel expansion programme for Samsung Care+. Negotiate new business agreements to secure new channel partners and retain existing ones, ensuring profitable growth for the division. Co-develop innovation pipelines with partners to enhance propositions, improve performance, and unlock new value-added services.

Market Execution & Internal stakeholder managementProvide guidance to 10 European Subsidiaries on prioritization and pitch to merchants to actively manage European BD pipeline. Guide and support 10+ Subsidiaries across Europe on prioritisation, business casing, and market readiness for insurance launches. Provide hands-on commercial support and escalation for Go-To-Market execution, partner pitches, and negotiation processes. Enable local teams through training, materials, and direct engagement to execute winning sales and partnership strategies.

Drive InnovationIdentify new market opportunities and growth sectors within the mobile insurance market. Champion and advocate for new features to support proposition development across our partners.

What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:Experience in commercial partnerships, business development or in-life partner programme management, preferably in mobile, insurance, or telecom sectors. Demonstrated ability to win and deliver complex commercial partnerships with direct accountability for sales targets and in-life revenue performance. Proven track record managing high-value relationships across the full lifecycle--from deal close to renewal and optimisation. Strong commercial and contractual negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels and across functional lines. Data-driven decision maker with experience in building performance dashboards, business cases and revenue growth plans. Adept at working in fast-paced, matrixed organisations and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. Passion for Samsung products and services.

Leading high-impact, senior-level commercial conversations that result in new distribution agreements and deeper in-life engagement. Delivering measurable improvements to partner programme performance through hands-on in-life management, rapid troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Shaping the European partner strategy while ensuring local market excellence, execution, and stakeholder buy-in. Becoming a recognised commercial leader across Samsung's services business in Europe, with visible contributions to topline growth and operational performance.
