Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and suggesting menu items through effective upselling techniques. Manage time efficiently to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders during peak hours. Assist in training new staff members on food preparation techniques and restaurant procedures. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management to ensure all ingredients are fresh and available. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and achieve daily operational goals.

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role within the restaurant industry is essential. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is required to ensure compliance in the kitchen. Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively. Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable. Culinary experience or formal training in kitchen operations will be considered an advantage. Strong time management skills are essential for prioritising tasks efficiently during busy periods.
