Overview
This position is best suited for a unique individual who has the ability to find, develop and nurture technical relationships with customers and prospects, which may involve evangelizing on a day-to-day basis in the integration space to a wide array of audiences, from C levels to developers. This evangelist should be technical in nature and capable of driving and owning the successful delivery of Proof of Concepts with prospects that will involve Solace Technology but also a variety of SAP BTP Services.
This position is unique in the sense that we are looking for someone who is a big picture thinker. Someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone and suggest/position ideas for customers that would benefit their business. Better customer experience, better supply chain visibility, on time delivery of goods, etc.
This position will require travel based on customer needs, and sometimes globally. The individual will work closely with the sales team to support customers on a technical level, run customer presentations, customer trials, customer integration/architecture and help in the development of new accounts.
It is extremely crucial that candidates possess experience with configuring and building applications within the SAP Business Technology Platform, specifically:

• Experience within the SAP Ecosystem
• Experience with UI5
• Experience with Business Application Studio
• Experience with Business Process Automation
• Experience with Integration Suite, Cloud Integration

Candidates should be comfortably navigating/configuring the various services within the Business Technology Platform mentioned above. One of the primary aspects of this role will be to help customers understand how applying Event Driven Architecture to these various services would lead to more agile and modular enterprise.
As part of the application process, candidates will be expected to demonstrate event-driven architecture in action using our free trial environment. Successful candidates will receive more details from the recruitment team on this.

What You'll Bring to the Role

• Undergraduate degree, ideally in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; Master's in Science, Business or Engineering an asset
• At least 8-10 years' experience in technology/presales/technical strategy consulting roles in the integration space
• Currently eligible to work in Europe without sponsorship.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

• The ability to articulate technical concepts and solutions to various audiences, from CTOs/CIOs to Developers, evangelizing modern concepts to help transform traditional solutions, especially in the integration and digital domains
• Solid presentation and white-boarding skills. This role is customer-facing so the successful candidate must have solid presentation and communication skills and be ready to take on the challenges of a fast-moving, fast-growing, and dynamic environment. Stakeholder engagement, as well as technical leadership team handholding, would be required. Presales experience would be an asset
• Messaging Middleware/Integration - Understanding of the application middleware space. Technical knowledge of messaging products such as IBM MQ, TIBCO EMS/RV and/or Open Source messaging such as Rabbit, ActiveMQ etc. would be beneficial to the role. An understanding of SOA and JMS are essential and working knowledge of AMQP, REST, JavaScript, MQTT would all be assets
• Enterprise Integration Patterns and Solution architecture experience would be an asset. Knowledge of Digital patterns, application lifecycle management, continuous integration
• Domain knowledge (from a systems integration perspective) of FSI / Telecommunications / Transportation / Insurance / Manufacturing would be very useful
• Application Integration with Java, JavaScript, ESB/API tools and/or C++/C
• Experience with software development in either Java or C++/C, SDKs and API integration
• Working experience with Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, PaaS platforms
• Overall industry knowledge about Cloud, IoT, Big Data, Digital, networking and other topical technology domains would be beneficial
