Nursery Class Senior SEND Early Years Practitioner BG8



33.5 hours per week

Wed 12.15-4.00pm, Mon,Tue,Thur,Fri 8.15-3.30pm and

Wednesday 8.15-4.30 (45 min lunch break)

Between 15.06-16.08 per hour dependent on experience

Permanent contract

Term time only

We are looking for a Senior SEND Early Years Practitioner who



is committed to building warm, respectful relationships with 3 and 4 year olds and their families

has significant experience of successful work with children with additional needs has experience taking a lead role within a team can scaffold children's learning and lead learning in a range of SEND intervention groups is observant to all children's attempts to communicate and can foster their skills to express themselves.
can create and maintain an inspiring and safe learning environment

has excellent spoken and written communication skills and contribute to and implement SEND support plans

In this new role the successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to be actively involved in the development of this new way of working. It is envisaged that they will be able to effectively reflect on and evaluate the impact of routines and practice in a solution focused way and offer practical ideas to improve outcomes for children.

They will be skilful in planning and implementing a range of interventions and inclusion strategies in Early Years settings and be able to drive high quality practice.

We are looking for a practitioner with a passion for inclusion who is an excellent role model and can work positively and flexibly with team members with a variety of experience levels.
