We are looking for an experienced SEO & Content Executive to fill an opening in our rapidly expanding in-house Content team.

The Role:



Your role will encompass content writing and SEO across a range of channels, with the aim of growing BookMyGarage's organic presence in the UK in line with our KPIs and targets.

The successful applicant will be tasked with creating high-quality, engaging content across all stages of the funnel. That includes, but is not limited to,

- Landing page copy promoting BookMyGarage's services and products

- Blogs and other informational articles

- Engaging consumer emails to encourage repeat bookings and ongoing loyalty

The successful applicant will also be expected to assist the SEO & Content Manager in:

- Defining and implementing SEO strategies to achieve our goals, targets and KPIs

- Managing external relationships with agencies and other SEO partners

- Analysing data to report on the performance of campaigns

- Making data-driven recommendations to influence strategy changes and iterative optimisations

- Strengthening EEAT (Expertise, Experience, Authority and Trustworthiness) across the website alongside brand authority within our market

As such, the successful applicant must also possess strong prioritisation and time management skills as well as showing the desire to keep up with a fast-moving, agile working environment (or previous experience having done so).

Key Responsibilities:



- Creating high-quality landing page copy for BookMyGarage, striving to improve Organic rankings and conversions by working alongside the wider team towards shared KPIs.

- Providing key strategic insights to help shape future SEO projects and optimisations

- Regular reporting on progress and success of campaigns to determine next steps

- Implementing strategic recommendations provided by our 3rd party agency in a timely fashion

- Leading on certain SEO projects and campaigns to deliver success in line with the team's shared goals and KPIs (including strengthening the brand and on-site EEAT factors)

- Assisting with other content requirements as required, ensuring all work is delivered to the highest standard and in line with brand and Google best practice guidelines.

In all instances, you will be reporting into the SEO & Content Manager and working closely with in-house and external teams to deliver organic growth and success.

Salary:

32,000 - 34,000 plus performance-related bonus (to be decided after successful probation period)

Job Location:

Hybrid working (at least 1 day a week in the office)

Requirements:



At least two years demonstrable performance-based SEO and Content Marketing experience.



Examples of preferred experience include website copywriting, on-page SEO optimisations, leading on SEO campaigns and written content creation, either in-house or as part of an Agency.

We require a candidate with demonstrable success in at least some, if not all, of the areas laid out in this application. Professional experience & success is preferred, but personal blogs and other projects will be considered.

Prospective applicants with limited or no experience in these areas need not apply.



We require prospective applicants to also:

Possess advanced SEO knowledge in line with current Google guidelines and recent Core updates.

Possess some knowledge of, or interest in, vehicles and the automotive industry.

Possess relevant experience promoting brands through a range of content channels by following brand messaging guidelines and Tone of Voice requirements

Be able to commute to our office in Portsmouth as required. A valid UK driving licence and access to a car are preferred, but not essential.

Demonstrate a willingness to learn, grow and develop personally and professionally.

Be comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment, demonstrating the ability to continually meet deadlines.
