Role Type: Full-time, Permanent
Are you a curious, proactive SEO all-rounder looking to grow your skills in a collaborative agency? We're on the hunt for a sharp and ambitious Senior SEO Manager to join our growing team at Fresh Egg. This is the ideal role for someone with a minimum of 3 years' solid SEO experience who's eager to develop in a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment.
This role will offer the right person the chance to learn from an incredibly smart and talented team, whilst significantly impacting the next phase of Fresh Egg's growth at an exciting point in the agency's development.
Fresh Egg is among the leading digital marketing agencies in the UK. Our mission is to uncover customer challenges and transform them into digital success. We don't employ cogs to fit into a machine, we employ exceptional individuals who can help us to consistently outperform expectation.
What you will be doing
Carrying out comprehensive SEO audits across technical, on-page and off-page factors, identifying issues and opportunities to drive organic performance.
Developing and delivering SEO strategies that align with client business objectives--linking keyword intent and user behaviour to conversion goals.
Implementing SEO best practices, such as improving site architecture, internal linking, metadata, page speed and crawlability.
Using tools like GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and more to extract insights, track performance and measure impact.
Creating and presenting clear recommendations, from quick wins to long-term improvements, to clients and internal teams.
Collaborating across disciplines (UX, content, dev, client services) to integrate SEO into broader digital strategies and web projects.
Keeping clients informed and engaged, regularly updating them on progress, performance, and emerging opportunities.
Staying ahead of industry trends, search algorithm updates and new tools, and sharing knowledge with the wider team.
Understand the latest shifts in technology and emerging markets around AI search, how to track and optimise for these models.
What you'll bring
At least 3 years' experience in SEO, ideally within an agency environment.
Broad, well-rounded SEO knowledge across technical, on-page, content and off-page disciplines (not seeking a narrow specialist; gaps can be developed).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain SEO clearly to clients and internal teams. Along with the ability to translate organic strategy into commercial interest
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Ability to translate organic search strategies into commercial value, articulating how SEO activity supports wider business objectives.
Confident working independently on audits, analysis and recommendations, owning deliverables to a high standard.
Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (e.g. UX, content, development, client services) to integrate SEO into wider project work.
Analytical mindset, able to interpret performance data, identify trends and present actionable insights.
Proactive and curious, staying up to date with industry changes and bringing new thinking to the team.
