Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm.

We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and have been looking after our loyal customers for over 50 years. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Service Advisor to head up the front of house team.. We are looking for individuals with outstanding people skills, energy and drive to join our Aftersales team based at Ayr Volkswagen.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your ability to communicate effectively and analyse customer needs will be crucial in ensuring a positive experience. Duties include managing service bookings, administrative duties, and overseeing customer service interactions both verbally and in-person.

This is a customer-facing role that demands professionalism, attention to detail, and a passion for the automotive industry.

About the Role -

Contribute to the efficient and profitable operation of the Aftersales Department. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person. Booking/scheduling vehicle services, repairs and MOT's. Maximise departmental performance through the sale of labour, parts and accessories. Monitor team performance and provide feedback for improvement. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, and record all customer data in line with Group standards, adhering to GDPR at all times. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency. Collaborate with team members and managers to co-ordinate workflow and resolve issues, and with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery. Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee morale

About You -

Proven experience working in a dealership or automotive service environment as a Service Advisor/Supervisor. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service at all times.
