We celebrate diversity, promote inclusivity and are open to discuss flexible work options to help you balance your work and home life.Join the Close Brothers IT Service Design team where you will be responsible for acting as the trusted advisor to Projects Managers on the Service Design and Introduction aspects of a delivery to the live production environment.Working as part of the IT Service Design team, our ideal team member will have previous experience working in a similar ITIL role in either Service Design or Transition with excellent Microsoft Office skills.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a trusted advisor to stakeholders during projects, supporting understanding of SD&I processes and Operational Acceptance Criteria (ITSS operational requirements), leading discussions on Service Models and delivering high quality Service Design artefacts
  • Facilitate IT Transition Quality Review Board (QRB) meetings and manage project submissions in line with agreed forum Terms of Reference
  • Champion the function of Service Design and Introduction to teams within and outside of IT Shared Services
  • Identify and deliver Continual Service Improvement initiatives of the SD&I process in consultation with key stakeholders, ensuring Service Design continues to be a robust and efficient function which serves the needs of the business
  • Own and Manage Service Risks in the SD&I Risk Register during the lifecycle of a project, including transfer to BAU Operations at project closure
  • Ensure Line Manager is informed and understands all key aspects of SD&I project deliverables and the progress of the overall project
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF HAVE:
  • Evidence of experience working in a similar ITIL role in either Service Design or Transition (or both) (or possibly PRINCE2 Project Management) roles
  • Full understanding of the roles of a working IT department with emphasis on the way service is provided by the IT Departments
  • Experience of collaboration with IT project managers to create and refine comprehensive service documentation that contain service designs and support operational run books
  • Experience working with SLAs, OLAs, Vendor Support Agreements, operating models and service teams
  • Previous experience of working closely and successfully with IT Project Managers, Internal IT teams and Business Stakeholders
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint along with Visio and MS Project
