Kennedy Fox are working with an international technology leader in the fields of thermal management and signaling technology, with a presence in more than 50 countries.

Our client design and manufacture high-quality solutions that protect industrial equipment and ensure safety in demanding environments. In the UK, they have an established and dedicated service engineering division to better serve clients across sectors such as food & beverage, battery energy storage, automation, and logistics.

They are looking for a

Senior Service Engineer

reporting into their UK General Manager.

You will take a lead role in servicing, repairing, and commissioning of their cooling systems on customer sites. This hands-on role combines engineering expertise with client engagement, offering a route to team leadership as the service division grows. You'll help establish their in-house workshop and be the go-to technical expert for both existing and future product ranges.

Responsibilities:

Commissioning, diagnostics, and maintenance of cooling and refrigeration systems Provide second-level technical support and issue resolution Travel to UK customer sites for installation and service jobs (some overnight stays required) Collaborate with sales and product teams to support project delivery and solution selling Set up the UK service workshop (tools, layout, best practices) Deliver technical training and knowledge-sharing for future hires Act as a key technical contact for quality feedback and new product development insights

Requirements:

F-Gas certified (essential) 18th Edition electrical qualification Experience working on refrigeration - ammonia refrigeration, HVAC, or electro mechanical systems Hands-on, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in the field Technically credible and able to engage with engineers, plant managers, and OEMs IT literate with experience in using service platforms or diagnostic tools Must live within 60-90 minutes of Rotherham HQ
