Vacancy: Senior Service Engineer

Siemens Smart Infrastructure are recruiting a Service senior engineer to help us find solutions to make the world a smarter place for tomorrow. The candidate will develop knowledge of our EA product portfolio assisting us to deliver services and maintenance contracts.

Location:

The role is based in Hebburn. As a team we have a brilliant flexible working policy and encourage working remotely when appropriate. The position will be collaborating with the Principal Engineer/Team Lead.

You'll make a difference by:

On call for Customer Service contracts including weekend support on a rota basis Lead team in the absence of team lead Attending customers sites to investigate and resolve faults. Conducting factory acceptance testing activities. Supporting tendering activities Mentor junior engineers Supporting with product testing against industry standards. Promote health and safety

You're excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

Bachelor's or equivalent experience in electrical engineering. Experience in Protection & Automation Experience with commissioning works Experience in responding to technical queries Strong personal skills i.e. great teammate, developed communication, open for multi-cultural relationships, self - motivation, presentational skills.
