This role is suitable for a manager that likes to make an impact on day one, have ownership to implement change and guide the team to delivering excellence across our service offerings.
The role is based on a 40 hour working week (Monday to Friday), between the hours of 07.30am to 6pm.
Responsibilities:
Building, managing and developing a team to ensure high quality standards of care is consistently delivered and ensuring safeguarding and duties of care are effective.
Responsible for compliance across the setting to meet Ofsted guidelines and recommendations.
Observe children in play, implement planning around learning and support growth of individuals in our care.
Support and encourage the team to consistently identify the needs of children and colleagues to deliver a wonderful experience throughout our services.
Build great relationships with parents and carers, schools, local authorities and governing bodies to ensure seamless communication.
Excellent knowledge of EYFS.
Ensure the setup of each of the sessions is visually appealing, age and ability appropriate and flexible around the needs and wants of the children in our care.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Level 3 qualification in childcare.
Passion for early years - and learning through play.
Must have proven management experience including managing rotas, staff deployment.
Must be IT literate in Microsoft 365 Suite.
Must have exceptional customer service skills.
Experience leading and motivating a team - can ensure policies and procedures are followed confidently and updates are suggested.
Punctual, reliable and able to use own initiative.
