Senior Shift Engineer

CRL Foods is the fastest growing RTD coffee manufacturer in the UK. We have unique thermal processing capabilities that underpin our superior quality of product; many of the leading brands in the market choose to work with us for this reason. Our IP opens the door to product manufacture far beyond coffee, including the low/no alcohol, sports nutritional and meal replacement markets, to name a few. These new product avenues for the business are rapidly expanding too.

CRL Foods is looking to add a Senior Shift Engineer to bolster the engineering team and support the company in its next stage of growth. The main focus will be on planned preventative maintenance and breakdown response, working with a specific shift team. The shift pattern is 2 day shifts of 6.30am - 7pm, followed by 2 night shifts of 6.30pm to 7am, followed by 4 shifts off. These shifts include 30 minutes paid break and 30 minutes unpaid break.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out planned preventative maintenance on plant & equipment to a high standard Respond to breakdowns on production machines To comply with legal requirements and work within company health and safety guidelines Identify and order spare parts Complete records using maintenance management system Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding Project work/continuous development To work safely at all times and adhere to company policies

SKILLS/QUALS

Time served with excellent multi-skilled discipline Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings Ability to carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding HNC qualification preferred Ability to create innovative solutions to complex problems. Work with the OEM machine technicians when required. Computer literate, familiarity with stock control and spreadsheets
