Main duties of the job




The Band 7 role in SDEC is a rewarding role. You will lead our dynamic, multi-disciplinary team on a daily basis, ensuring the smooth running of
shifts in a challenging and diverse environment. Your clinical leadership and people skills are vital to delivering the responsibilities and
accountabilities outlined in this job description.

Essential criteria




Extensive post-registration experience within the specialty (minimum 5 years) NMC Registered Adult Nurse BSc or evidence of study at level 6 with ability to complete BSc Teaching and assessing course (i.e. Mentorship or equivalent) ILS Safeguarding level 3

Desirable criteria




MSc or evidence of study at level 7 ALS Level 1 or 2 Trauma Management and leadership course #

Experience




Essential criteria




Extensive post-registration experience within the specialty (minimum 5 years) Experience of team and shift management Experience in conducting appraisals

Desirable criteria




Experience in service improvement implementation Experience in research Experience in audit #
