About the Company :

Fermac Properties is a well-known local house-builder with over 30 years of experience in Northern Ireland (www.fermacproperties.com). This role is based at our new build residential development site, Camowen Avenue, Hospital Road, Omagh, located on the former Tyrone Hospital site (www.camowenomagh.com).

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated skilled tradesperson, preferably with skilled joinery experience, to support the Site Manager. Your main job will be to fill the gaps between the trades, ensure quality control, and prepare houses for the next stage of work, all while keeping an eye on deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Bridge the Gaps:

Prepare and co-ordinate work between different trades (e.g. joiners, plumbers, electricians) to keep projects moving smoothly.

Quality Control:

Check that all 1st fix work is sound before it is covered up.

Final Finishing:

Complete final finishing and 'de-snagging' to get homes ready for handover.

Supporting Site Management :

Act as the Site Manager's 'eyes and ears' to spot and report any potential issues or delays which could affect completion deadlines.

Repairs:

Assess and resolve minor snags and carry out minor decorative repairs in completed homes after completion/handover

What We Are Looking For

An experienced tradesperson with 10 + years of experience.

Someone with a strong eye for detail and a focus on high-quality work.

A clear communicator who is well-organised and pro-active.

Someone who understands the full new-build construction process.

A full, clean driving licence (no more than 3 points).
