About the Role:
As a Senior Social Care Administrator, you will play a key role in the coordination and smooth running of essential adult social care services. You'll work under the direction of the
Social Care Support Team Leader
, supporting multiple teams in a fast-paced and emotionally sensitive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering a wide range of administrative and business support functions
Supporting communication and coordination between Local Authority and Local Health Board teams
Acting as the first point of contact for urgent enquiries, often in crisis situations
Ensuring accurate and timely handling of sensitive information and records
Providing essential cover for other Business Support staff (e.g., during annual or sick leave)
This is a highly rewarding role where your work directly enables the delivery of services that promote safety, independence, and wellbeing for adults with complex needs.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a proactive, organised and compassionate individual with:
Excellent administrative and organisational skills
Strong communication and customer care abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Confidence in managing competing priorities and working under pressure
A flexible and adaptable approach, aligned with the Council's

Experience in social care, health, or multi-agency working environments is desirable but not essential - training and support will be provided.
