We're looking for a Senior Social & Environmental Lead to drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Social Value and Sustainability programmes across a major national FM contract.
This senior leadership role will be responsible for managing a team of experts, ensuring consistency in delivery and maximising impact for people, places and planet.
You'll oversee programme performance and reporting, engage key stakeholders, and embed sustainability into the core of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Lead delivery and reporting of Social Value and Sustainability plans for the client contract
Chair the Community Interest Group and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with legislation and best practice
Manage budgets and lead Social Value and Sustainability teams
Oversee CCS reporting (RM6232) and act as subject matter expert for Government sector
Support the wider Government sector and liaise with ISS central functions to meet contract goals
Regular travel across the UK is required to support national programme delivery
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Extensive sustainability leadership experience, ideally in the public/government sector
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Line management experience with proven team leadership
Broad sustainability knowledge at a generalist level (not SME depth)
Familiarity with the FM industry and its operational context
Culturally aware and experienced in client-facing roles
Confident influencing at senior levels across diverse environments
